About
Our project "Road to a Healthy Mind" came to be through an Honors Lyceum course called "CEO Fellows." Our team had a desire--as college students--to help college students. We wanted to inform our peers that there are ways to succeed academically and mentally. We all struggle, some more than others, and we know that sometimes you feel alone or don't know where to go for help. Our goal is be something people can turn to in a time of need; Our goal was to present the importance of good mental health; Our goal is to be the road to a healthy mind.
hopes for the future
Moving forward, CEO fellows should continue to contribute to the website in a couple of ways. First, fellows should continue to add to the website with up-to-date data and resources on the mental wellbeing of college students. In an ever-changing environment for college students, data to reflect these changes are of utmost importance. Second, fellows should spread the word of the website to their peers. As college campuses continue to expand, so too should mental health resources. Furthermore, we recommend that this site lives on the current honors college site under the current students tab under "Road to a Healthy Mind".
Pictured above are our instructors and without them, we wouldn't have made it as far as we did. Jeff Cohn and Tiffany Sippial provided our team with lots of inspiration to be great and to do something meaningful. We talked with them about our ideas and desires for this project and they listened. They taught us that it's not only exciting to be vulnerable with your thoughts and feelings, but that it is necessary to be a successful leader. We learned a lot as a team, now it's our job to share what we know.
